Anthony Martial Makes His Record In Goal Scoring

The forward and winger of Manchester United Anthony Martial was all set to face West Ham as per the decision which took place on 10th May.

He was chosen to start the game at Upton Park. The manager of Manchester United Louis van Gaal had consulted the health specialist of Martial to figure out his fitness status before choosing him to Upton Park. The team felt secure with this good news of Martial returning fitly to face the match for the top 4 finish. Anthony Martial has played around 55 games for Monaco this season and in France and United. However, he could not make it to Norwich City. But, now that he was confirmed fit, United was quite excited and did the required preparations for their victory.

Anthony Martial’s performance on Tuesday against West Ham has been compared with one of the records made by Wayne Rooney at the club. The Frenchman was 19 years old when he made his entry at the Old Trafford last year and has perfectly found the net in all competitions for 17 times. As a result, it is equivalent to the performance of Ronney and Kidd for majority of goals that was scored in one single season by those who began their career in United as a teenager. Wayne Rooney has also achieved 17 goals when he played for the club for the first time in the year 2004 and hence the impact of Anthony Martial has been quite similar and has made his fans happier than before.

Martial has received the Golden Boy Award as he was the best player in the under 21 group in Europe. He has won several awards for his brilliant performance as a footballer and is known for his forward skills. The supporters of Red Devils are highly impressed with this player and he has been one of the best performers of Louis van Gaal this term.
